Schedule I Forums – Community Guidelines
Effective as of April 2025

Purpose of These Guidelines

While the Forum Rules set out what you must do, these Community Guidelines outline what you should aim for to help create the best possible environment for everyone.

The Schedule I Forums are intended to reflect the strategic, immersive nature of Hyland Point.
We encourage thoughtful discussions, creative contributions, and a culture of mutual respect.

Our Community Principles
  • Foster Meaningful Discussions: Thoughtful posts, helpful advice, and insightful debates are what drive a strong community.
  • Encourage New Players: Schedule I has a learning curve. Help newcomers find their footing without judgment or hostility.
  • Stay In Character (Where Appropriate): We welcome creative roleplay in appropriate areas. However, remember to separate roleplay from real-world behavior.
  • Support Creative Contributions: Guides, stories, player-created content, and ideas for the game enrich the community. Share them.
  • Respect Different Playstyles: Whether players prefer legitimate businesses or street-level operations, respect their choices within the world of Hyland Point.
  • Think Before You Post: Before starting a new topic, ask yourself if it adds value, starts a real conversation, or benefits the community.
  • Use Private Messaging Appropriately: PMs are for personal, respectful communication. Do not use them to harass or spam others.

Community Conduct Expectations
  • Represent the Game Well: Remember that outside visitors and potential players often view the forums first. Keep public spaces professional and welcoming.
  • Disagree Respectfully: Differences of opinion are natural. Handle disagreements with calmness and reason, not aggression.
  • Accept Staff Guidance: Moderators and administrators are here to help maintain order. Please follow their directions respectfully.
  • Stay Patient With Development: Schedule I is evolving. Constructive feedback is welcome; entitlement and toxic negativity are not.

Final Note

This community is what we make it. Every post, every interaction shapes the experience for others.
By participating with integrity, creativity, and respect, you help build something worthy of the Schedule I world.

Play smart. Act with respect. Build a community that lasts.
